Posted: 24 Mar 2011 hi, never mind the historical records of 1930s Romney Marsh residents complaining to the council about noisy Marsh Frogs keeping them awake. or the European Royalty that sent minions out battering the water with sticks to keep the same species quiet in middle-ages France. outside my back door theres a large, old aquarium filled with rainwater and algae; a COMMON frog keeps getting in it and calling at night. and my neighbours have complained about the noise! personally i find the feeble croaking sound of RT very conducive to a good nights kip. after all, in volume, its nothing compared to Marsh Frogs obviously! i keep fishing this renegade frog out but he (or another) keeps returning. so ive ended up strategically placing a plank in the tank to replicate the bank hoping he'll get back to the rank and end this prank; let him come and go as he pleases. hopefully, he will peace off soon and alls well that ends well with them next door eh? ben Diversity. |
